Welcome to Joseph City

Thank you for visiting the Joseph City School District Web site! We are located in Navajo County, Arizona about 80 miles east of Flagstaff. We enjoy a strong sense of community in Joseph City, and we are proud of the high level of parent and community involvement in our schools.

We hope you’ll take some time to browse through our Web site and see what Joseph City School District has to offer. Take a look at our individual school sites, meet our Governing Board and our Administration, and find out how to register for school.

We are proud of our district, our students, our teachers, and the community. Thanks for visiting Joseph City School District’s Web site and enjoy your stay!

A Message from Our Principal

The “Tradition of Excellence” appellation describing Joseph City Schools constitutes more than just a motto on our letterhead. It exemplifies the strong sense of community and cooperation that exists between the school staff, students, parents, and the general public who comprise it. Preserving this connectedness requires dedicated, loyal staff-teachers, administrators, support staff, a governing board devoted to improving the well-being of the entire district, parents committed to and involved in partnering with the district, and a caring community supportive of these efforts by providing necessary resources and through a spirit of volunteerism that strengthens this sense of cooperation.

A “Tradition of Excellence” represents our history, our educational heritage, willed by prior generations of students, teachers, and community. It is at once, our legacy and our vision to be handed forward as a cherished heirloom to each succeeding generation passing through these halls. So that they do not fail us, we cannot fail them.

Sincerely,

Robert Klein
Superintendent
